Motorcyclist, 30, dies after collision in Laval
The accident occurred Friday at the intersection of de la Renaissance Ave. and Sainte-Rose Blvd. A collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Laval, the Sainte-Rose district of Laval claimed the life of a 30-year-old motorcyclist, 30, on Friday afternoon. The accident occurred at the intersection of de la Renaissance Ave. and Sainshire-Rose Blvd. The motorcycle was travelling westbound on the road, while the vehicle was travelling eastbound on SainTE-Rose Boulevard. The vehicle was attempting to take Highway 15 North at the time of the accident. The motorcyclists were hit by the motorcycle, which hit the vehicle, causing it to spin and then the motorcycle to collide. The seriously injured motorcycleist was thrown from his vehicle, and pronounced dead at a hospital.

The vehicle was travelling westbound on de la Renaissance Ave. while the motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Sainte-Rose Blvd., reported the Laval Police Service (SPL). “At the intersection there is a traffic light. The vehicle wanted to turn to enter and take Highway 15 North. That’s when the motorcycle hit the vehicle,” said an SPL spokesperson Stéphanie Beshara. The motorcyclist was then thrown from his vehicle. The seriously injured man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Beshara said.
